The Croatian Flag consist of 3 horizontal bands Red, White and Blue with the Croatian coat of arms in the middle. The Croatian flag was officially adopted on December 21st 1991.

The crown is made up of five small coat of arms, starting from the left, The original Croatian coast or arms, Dubrovnik, Dalmatia, Istria and Slavonia.

The Croatian coat of arms dates back to the 15th century and is made up of 25 red and white squares 5 across and 5 down, traditionally the first square in the top left corner is red.
