St. Ivan (Sv. Ivan) Island (Islet) Porer Island (Islet)
St. Ivan lighthouse was constructed in 1853, it is on the most distant islet of the small archipelago near Rovinj. The islet land area is approximately 3500 meters.

 

Closest main town: Rovinj

Distance to town: 3.5 KM

Porer Island lighthouse was constructed in 1833, it is on the most southwest Island from the southern most cape of Istria.  The Island is very small it will take one minute to walk around circumference of the Island.

Long Island (Dugi Otok) Island Prisnjak Island (Islet)
Long Island lighthouse was constructed in 1849, it is on the southwest cape of the island in a town called Veli rat. The lighthouse is surrounded by pine trees and pebble beaches.

 

Closest main town: Zadar

Distance to town: 35 KM

Prisnjak Island lighthouse was constructed in 1886, it is located 300 M from the Island of Murter.  The lighthouse is surrounded by pine trees and only 15 M from the beach.

Susac Island Lastovo Island
Susac Island lighthouse was constructed in 1878, it is  25 west of the Island of Lastovo. The lighthouse is surrounded by low bushed and open sea, it has magnificent vies and will give you a feeling of seclusion.

Distance to town: 25 KM

Lastovo Island lighthouse was constructed in 1839, it is 101 KM from both Split and Dubrovnik, it distance from the mainland is its appeal. Lastovo is sparsely populated giving you an almost guaranteed private and peaceful holiday.

Makarska (Sv. Petar) Plocica Island
Sv. Petar lighthouse was constructed in 1884, it is  on the Sv. Peter (St. Peter) peninsula at the entrance to Makarska (Makarska Riviera).

The lighthouse is within walking distance to the center of Makarska along the paved road.

Plocica Island lighthouse was constructed in 1887, The Island of Plocica is situated between two main Islands, Island of Hvar and Island of Korcual. The islands name means slate because of the characteristics of the Island.

 

Surrounding the lighthouse are ideal diving locations, it is also well suited for children having a rocky seabed.

Palagruza Island Novigrad (Rt Zub)
Palagruza Island lighthouse was constructed in 1875, The Island of Palagruza is situated in the middle of the Adriatic between Croatia and Italy.

 

The Island of Palagruza is only 1.5 KM long and 300 meters wide, there are two beautiful pebble beaches close to the lighthouse ideal for children with a magical view to either Croatia or Italy. 

 

Closest main town: Island of Lastovo

Distance to town: 48 KM

Rt Zub lighthouse was constructed in 1872, it is situated 13 KM from both Novigrad (Istria) and Porec (Istria).

 

Rr Zub means Cape Tooth, the lighthouse is surrounded by pebble beaches ideal for children, the lighthouse is accessible by car, making day trips to nearby towns possible just to sightsee or for dinner.

Distance to town: 13 KM

Umag (Savudrija)

 
Savudrija lighthouse was constructed in 1818, making it the oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic Sea, it is situated 9 KM from both the Umag.  The lighthouse is close the Slovenian border and approximately 50 KM from the Trieste (Italy).  If you would like to stay in a lighthouse in Croatia  and would also like to visit other countries on a day trip, this lighthouse is the one for you.  Croatia, Italy and Slovenia all in the one day.

 

The beach is only 30 M away, the lighthouse is surrounded by a magical green gardens.  Umag is Croatia's tennis center, if you want to play a few games of tennis whilst on holiday's it is only a short drive away.

This must be the ideal lighthouse destinations, the proximity, the location and the surrounding attractions and entertainment.
